We celebrate the opening of the European Marksmen's Fair Mondsee 2024 with our traditional folk music evening featuring star host Richard Deutinger on Thursday, August 29, starting at 8:00 PM in the festival tent.

Richard is a passionate musician and host of the successful Austrian TV show "Hoagascht" on Servus TV. Richard combines a deep connection to his homeland and music like no other, and we are very pleased that he will be leading our traditional folk music evening as the host of the opening night!

D'Aberseea musicians and Boscha
D'Aberseea Musikanten and Boscha looks back on a long, traditional past. The traditional costume and folklore association from Abersee has existed since 1948. Music has been played on the shores of Lake Wolfgang for several generations - and this year on the festival stage of our traditional folk music evening.
