Arrival in Mondsee

The region Mondsee-Irrsee with its two lakes, Mondsee and Irrsee, is easy to reach from all directions due to its location near the motorway, in the immediate vicinity of the festival city of Salzburg and as a gateway to the Salzkammergut.

By car

from Germany: take the A8 from Munich towards Salzburg, there turn onto the A1 towards Linz / Vienna, after 20 km take the exit "Mondsee"
from Vienna: take the A1 towards Salzburg to the exit "Mondsee"
from Italy: take the A10 to Salzburg, there turn onto the A1 towards Linz / Vienna, after 20 km take the exit "Mondsee"

By train and bus

continue from Salzburg main station with bus line 140 to Mondsee (travel time approx. 1 hour, express courses on the motorway correspondingly shorter)
